model 6280

Hi folks I am new here. I have a Commercial Lawnboy Model 6280. Would anyone know the year these were made? I ran over a stone with it and it blew a 1"x1" round hole in the deck. Can the hole be repaired or do I have to leave it alone? Cutting in Canada

You model was manufactured between 1980-85. Where is the hole?

Hello Rivet. Thanks for your reply. The hole is on the front just where the deck has a turn upward from the engine. its not on a level spot. :frown:Thanks David T

Try cutting with it and let us know if any grass comes flying out. I can't visualize where the hole is. Are you able to post a picture?
