Model 10A902 Won't Prime

Replaced carburetor and diaphragm with after market brand. Engine won't prime. If I manually add a bit of gas to the carb the engine will run until that amount is burnt then shuts down. Took carb off and rechecked. All looks good. Any suggestions?

First make you installed the diaphragm and gasket in the correct order Diaphragm to tank then the gasket.

Also check the primer check valve for proper operation.
