Missing spring

Yep, the old flathead aluminum and cast-iron engines were some of the easiest to work on and very reliable if a person kept the oil changed and tuned them up once a year.

Okay, I finally got the spring from eBay. Not sure if it is the correct one . It measures 3/8 inches and almost 2 inches when installed. Seems like a lot of stretch to me. Don't seem like it would last long before it broke.
