Those are casting numbers and don't mean much. What are you looking for? What are the Model, Type, and code numbers for this engine? Maybe I can help if I know these two things.

Briggs part no for overhaul kit is 797890.
Thing to check 1st is if the carb anti fire solenoid is working on the carb bowl. That may give your symptoms.
Give it a good strip down and clean 1st before fitting an overhaul kit.
Watch the manifold seals when you take it off as they are prone for dropping out and expanding and a right pain to fit back in.

Pug is right check the solenoid first. To check the fuel solenoid apply 12V to it and see if it clicks. This click means that it is opening. Also, check to see if you are getting gas to the carb. Check the fuel pump by removing the fuel line from the carb and crank the engine over. Pull the plugs to allow the engine to turn faster. If fuel comes out the pump is good and you should take a good look at the carb. One other thing you could try (if you have someone there to help you) is have them try to start the engine while you spray carb cleaner where the carb meets the manifold and where the manifold meets the block. If the engine fires it means that you have an air leak, preventing fuel getting to the cylinders. A leak on one side will affect both sides.
