Hello every one.
I have several old mowers beginning with a Craftsman 14.5hp, John Deere Stx38 12.5hp, Turf Pro (MTD) 12.5hp and a Snapper that I can't remember the model but has an 8hp engine on the rear. These mowers have all be kept up by a cousin that knew quite a bit about mowers until he passed away a couple of years ago. I had never been any kind of a mechanic even at growing up on a farm. I also hate to brag but last year I happened to have all sorts of problems with these lawn mowers. I didn't know any thing about carburetors or small engines so I looked on the internet and found that I could buy some disk from ----- guess I had better not plug the name. Any way these disk came and since then I have rebuilt the carburetors on all of the lawn mowers and they run great now. I did have to also learn how to adjust the valves on a couple of them. BTW the Turf Pro is 16 years old.
That is me and mine.
