Purchased Carburetor rebuild kit and installed carburetor the rebuild kit to include gaskets, spring, needle valve and associated parts. All the fuel lines and the primer bulb replaced
Trimmer still stalls after about 10 seconds Running. I replaced the sparkplug with a D8J, the original was a RD8J. The throttle trigger and cable are working smoothly. I've cleaned Carburetor, exhaust and spark arrestor.

I am curious of what the compression of the engine is. Marginal compression can cause these symptoms.

Thanks, I check it again. I'll also recheck the fuel return where it reenters the tank. Seems like the grommet seal is missing and the fuel is just the port. Could it fuelnpressure loss?
