m60 tank deck problems

After mowing for an hour or so if the deck is turned off I have to wait until it cools down to re-engage the deck. I can Rev the engine wide open and sometimes it will start but is getting worse as time goes on. Don't want to replace parts I don't need so was looking for someone with past experience with this problem. Thanx

Hey had same problem for couple of years, guys on here got me fixed up. Mine was low voltage from battery. Turned out to be a charging problem, after a lot of small changes that didn't work. Mine old thread is on here for different checks you can try. Some thing that is real easy if you have a battery jump box, when mine would not engage I hooked jump box to it and it worked just like it is suppose to.
Which told me battery voltage was to low to engage blades. Good luck this site has so many sharp guys if its not this they will get it done. Jon:smile:

Hey back JONS,
I'm not overly active or proficient with web forums so this may die in cyberspace and not make it back to you. Thanks for sharing your experience's with me and the thread you mentioned, not sure where to find.
So far I have ran the mower for a couple of hours and hooked jumper cables to the battery and tried to start deck back up. Still no change.
Put charger on while running engine and charger amps indicated battery at full charge and deck still will not start until it sets for half an hour.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
