LT4000 engine swap?

I have Craftsman LT4000 (model 9172736403) that currently has a Briggs 18.5 hp that is getting tired. Doesn’t throw snow like it used to, and leaks a little oil around the bottom of crankshaft. I have a Kohler 22 hp V twin on another mower I don’t use (no mower deck, just bought it for the engine). Can I put a Kohler 22 on a Craftsman LT4000? Not concerned about wiring, all the safety interlock switches are disabled anyway 😛

Need the model and spec off the Kohler as it might 1-1/8" PTO where the Briggs has an 1". IF so none of PTO parts will work.
