The root cause is most probably tiny trash in the fuel system. Remove the fuel tank and clean it out. Replace all the fuel line with SAE spec J30 automotive fuel hose. Add a new fuel filter and a manual On/Off fuel valve.
Then, remove the float bowl and clean out the trash caught in the float valve.
