LT1000 only one blade

Ok so hit a piece of wood I don't know the mower yet so it did get disengaged very fast and it's used after it sound horrible and is only half cutting on investigating I see a spring broken but idk where it hooks too

Spring goes in hole just above your knuckle in the photo and other end goes in a hole forward of that in the deck itself. Forst spin by hand the blade of the non-working side, see if the mandrel/spindle is OK.
