Lower Bagger Discharge Chute Problem

I recently bought a used JD L100 mower with 42-inch deck. I purchased a JD bagger kit, but there is no hole in the depth gauge wheel bracket to facilitate the pin on the lower bagger discharge chute that came with the kit. Can anyone assist before I start throwing money at this problem? Thank you!
