What product do you guys use to raise your pH? Got 3 bags of Sta-Green Calcitic Lime from Lowes. Going to need about 15 more as this is not a one time treatment.
Bought a cheap soil pH tester from Scamazon. Went from 7,6,5,4 then 3.0 then read LOW. No wonder my lawn struggles to grow. Half of our plants died all around the yard. Hydrengea leaves are yellow.
Then I learned that regular ammonia type fertilizers lower your pH. Time to switch ferts.

I was told you can only 2 tons per acre at a time. This was when my garden was at 3.5-4 pH. Since it was a garden I did during the early winter when no crops was present and I put 3 ton per acre.
Before I applied my field corn was only 12 inches with tasseling. Needless to say no corn produce that first year. next year it was 7 ft tall with huge ears.
