Greetings. I am looking for a crankshaft for my Honda push mower. I can't find this model anywhere. Some parts sites think it may have come from Canada. I think mit might be a special one made for a big box store. At any rate, I can't ID the crankshaft to order it. Here's the numbers, any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, but that returns to Honda GCV160LA0 (Type N5RB)(VIN# GJARA-1000001) which shows crank option 6. My type is MY3 Shaft is tapped for 3/8-24 thread and has two keyways. More like option 3. I will go make more measurements on the shaft which is stashed in my shed. To be continued....

If this is a Honda push mower the engine parts diagram will be part of the diagram for the mower. Will need mower model number to look up engine parts.

Thanks much. I have ordered the crank. I have a couple more questions. First Honda disassembly after lots of Briggs.

What are the torque specs for the flywheel and the connecting rod bolts?

I marked the valve gear before removing the belt from the crank gear, but is there a recommended mark or marks to line up somewhere when the engine is reassembled -- just incase I let things slip?

Magneto clearance spec? I haven't changed that but just would like to check

Finally, what's this gizmo on the side of the engine? See photo.

Again, Thanks. Good forum.

That's the wax plug for the auto choke... Leave that in unless you want to spend 10 bux or so for a new one....... There is a plunger inside of it..... They do go bad after a long time...... But not to often....

That's why the chokes on Honda's are slow to open back up..........

That series of videos is exactly what I needed. Thanks.
Two further questions. The fins on my flywheel are a plastic part that fits under the flywheel nut and washer (photo). Should I use the same torque value for the nut as in the video? I'm wondering if the plastic fin part requires a lower torque. I also would like to know what brand silicone to use to seal the crankcase and valve cover.
