Lifting XT2 from bumper or rear

Can you use the front bumper to raise my cub cadet Xt2, to change the blades, or is it better to use the rear towing bar?

I use my mower lift to raise the front end up enough that I can slide under the deck and replace the blades. Mine is something like this one:
