Looking to see how much it costs now a days. I currently have 5 regulars and picking up more. Just wanting to cover my but if something happens. I don't know who or what company I would have to go through. And comments would be great.

That will be a question that will be hard to answer. Reason being it vary's so much with location. A license fee can go for cheap to hundreds and so does insurance. It also depends on if it's just you or how many employees you have and the type of insurance your buying.

There will be one employee. And in Cleveland Ohio area. Not looking for that 12 million dollar insurance. Something that would just cover my but if anything was to happen. What kind of company do I need to talk to about this?

Try talking to your regular Insurance company, they should be able to tell you how to proceed. The problem with having employees is that you are required in some areas to provide workmen compensation in case of an injury that's job related. Insurance can cost big that's why there are so many small businesses that don't carry insurance and if they try because of all the money it cost they can't make enough to cover the cost and pay employees so they end up out of business. I don't know about Ohio but here the only thing required for a lawn care business is a Tax I.D number.

Thanks. I'll look in to it. If anyone is gonna work for me its my brother. I'll try contacting my insurance provider. Problem is I'm 19 and they might try and give me high rates.
