Ok fellas help me brainstorm here. I’ve always run the chevron bar style tires on my mowers... at101 like tires.

Anyway. Mower has 20x10-8 rear, 11x6-5 fronts. (52” deck).

The 61 comes with 20x10 on 10” wheel.

I have a set of 10” wheels (buddy at a golf cart store). I set out to just grab some 20x10-10 tires. Then keep coming across the 21x11-10’s. They will fit, and I’ve already leveled my deck 1/8th rake) so I can redo to account for the 1/2” change.

But I pulled the 2800 model number and they can run 20-22” tires comfortably. Which made me wonder if I don’t just do 22x11-10’s and find a 13” caster wheel for the front to match the increase. Would be a comfort increase for sure.

Thoughts?

Well for anyone in the future. I ended up doing the Carlisle AT101 in 21x11-10’s on a 10x8 (2+6 offset) golf cart wheel.

I really went back and forth on wheel, and initially planned on using a 10x7 (2.5+4.5 offset) but was worried it would rub the frame. After measuring what I’ve done now, I’m confident these would have worked also (May have even preferred them) but would at narrowest spot had 1/2” of clearance with the 11” wide tire.

Anyway. I’ve got 1.5” between closest tire edge and frame at narrowest point. Which is about a half inch better off than stock. Of course it’s wider but still plenty of cutting edge past tires. Probably make a lot more since with something to lay stripes with honestly.

Anyway. Pics in next post
