Leaking Tire

I have a 12 X 24 rear tire leaking at the rim, inner and outer, hauled the 22.5 HP tractor 230 miles up to my lake place and saw it was down when I took it off. Do I fix it myself or take the tire someplace? I was thinking drive my truck onto some 2 X 12 boards to break seal and then reseal, am I nuts.

Just read all the pages on the other persons tire problem, he could not find his leak, and I will go with the Amazon fix it flat before anything else. I am only at the lake place once a month, and could inflate it and use it an hour, but will try the Amazon product.
