Leak??

I have a 7 year old Scag Freedom Z. Has been a great machine so far. When I took it out of storage last week there was a puddle of drive juice under right side, and the tank was dry. I partially filled the tank, and drove it a couple hunderd yards to my garage... It was dripping near the front of the transaxle. I put the rear end on jack stands and cleaned the area. Started it up and ran in forward and reverse for about ten mins.... NO LEAK.... Anyone have an idea what could be leaking..

Thanks,
John

I'd put a clean sheet of cardboard under the suspected leak area and after running it until fluids are warm, park it overnight or maybe for more than overnight to see if there is a very slow leak. It's possible that seals "resealed" themselves but don't count on it. Weight on wheels might make a difference versus testing on jack stands. Good luck.
