I recently acquired a leaf blower and don't know much about the history. So I changed the spark plug, carb, fuel lines, fuel filter, and purge bulb.
It starts up fine now but I noticed when I run it for a few mins with the throttle engaged and then shut it off, the muffler has smoke coming out of it for a few mins. What does that indicate? Also I noticed it does not idle when I disengage the throttle and it stops running after 5-10 seconds.
Do I need to adjust the mixture screws on the carb? I made sure the oil and gas ratio was correct. And I used 2 cycle synthetic oil.
Note, I did run it without a air filter because the old one was extremely dirty. (I plan to get a new one).
I've attached a photo of the machine and model.
Thanks!

Probably does need some tuning. How long did you run it? Could be the muffler just needs a good burn out?
