Lawnboy too slow

Just purchased a 10323 Lawnboy 2 cycle from my neighbor, he just had a new carburator installed. It runs greatbut two slow. Can I speed it up some way? I have a 4 cycle and it runs a perfect speed. I like to mow a a faster speed.

You have a round wheel above the carb and you rotate it clockwise which will increase the RPM about 50 RPM for each click. Use two fingers to make the adjustment one from each hand.

You can buy a cheap induction tach from china for 8 to 11 dollars depending on the seller. I bought one and i am happy with it. Scroll down and see my post on induction tach.
Go to ebay and type in " hour meter tachometer"
