I have a LawnBoy from 2006/2007. It's called the GOLD model. There is a foot release on the left side which, when pressed, allows the handle to flip over for easier storage. There is a horizontal rod about 15 inches long that the foot release attaches to with a set screw. The other end of this rod comes out of the housing on the right side then engages with the lower part of the right handle. This end of the rod broke. Based on my model and parts diagram online, I got a new rod, LH and RH torsion springs, and a locking piece that is a piece of metal about 3/8 by 2-1/2 inches with a hole on each end. I got the pieces and THOUGHT it would be intuitive how this all gets put together. It is not. Would like instructions. Copy from a repair manual or a picture taken from an actual similar LawnBoy would be most helpful.
