Check for a faulty on/off switch. Also check the points and condenser (they are under the flywheel). Check the wires for poor connections.

To remove the flywheel, remove the plastic flywheel screen and flywheel nut. Pull up on the flywheel while striking the opposite side with a soft hammer.

got a new condenser and it sparks good but now where does the rod off of the Throttle shaft go to.
also where does the spring that comes down from under the flywheel go that is in the back of the engine with nowhere "i see" to go?

the rod off the throttle shaft rest against the governor lever and the spring attaches to your speed control lever.

Don't forget you have to remove the plugs on the drive wheels and put grease in and reinstall the plugs and you should see the grease come out by the bearings.

basicaly what you got there is a bricktop without the "BRICKTOP" instead it has a shroud. so basically all the rules to fixing it pretty much are the same as a bricktop!
