Lawnbow 10313 no compression

i picked up a 10313 Lawnboy which looks to be in great shape but has zero compression. The mower has been sitting for a long time per evidence of nasty gas and one of the worst carburetors i have ever cleaned/rebuilt. I am going to try the oil in the plug hole as a last resort before a disassemble. any other things i might due/check? thanks I have done all the nurmal checks so far.

If you don't have any compression at all I'd say it's time for a rebuild. You may check the upper and lower crankshaft seals to see if they appear to be leaking, causing lost compression. I'm parting out an identical model mower, and have a good engine listed on eBay currently.

Just want to give an update to the 10313 no compression post, i finally got around to taking the head off. Bent intake valve. installed new valve (lapped both back in) check for clearance, put new gaskets etc. started on 1st pull. runs good so far.
