Lawn Sprinkler Guard

Have about 30 sprinkler heads, 4" popup. The grass is cut at 2 1/2 to 3" but every year I have to get down on hands and knees, and clean grass out of the sprinklers, unplug the fouled nozzles etc. Has anyone tried the rings that go around the heads to keep grass away from them?

it is moot now. I am done with the sprinklers for the season. The lawn was aerated today, grass cut back around the sprinklers, uncovered some that grass had grown over during the winter. Picked up the plugs from the aerator over about 1500 sq ft. What a pain that is. No need for sprinkler guards now. I'll consider it next time I work on them, maybe before the winter,
