I have a 2 year old Craftsman rear wheel drive lawnmower with a Briggs engine. The Mower will start and run for about 2-3 minutes. Then it will stop. I believe it to be a fuel or air problem. This is what I have done so far.
Replaced all the gas and fuel. (thought water may have been in it)
Replaced air filter.
Replaced spark plug
Checked sheared flywheel key and its fine.
Cleaned carbeurater
Checked cap to the gas tank. I ran gas out of the tank in the line and the flow didn't stop or slow down at all so I believe the fuel cap is ok.
Last year it used to run for 30 minutes and then stop during fall and this year it runs only 2-3 minutes. Once it stops if i immediately try then it will stop in 4-5 seconds. After it stops if i wait 10-15 minutes then it will run for another 2-3 minutes.
Any other words of wisdom or other thoughts to consider would be great. It is hard to mow your lawn when the mower stops every 2-3 minutes.
Thanks in advance for any advice
