Well I finished the 7263 restore! hope you enjoy the Pics!

That's a fine looking Lawn-Boy. You did good work. How does it run?

It runs perfect. The spring on the throttle bar was broke and the Reed plate was not flush and the thing still ran! Fixed that and fiddled with the governor and it runs like it did in 1977 brand new!

Looks nice. I believe it's around a '74 model. There's a guy on eBay that makes repro decals. I've bought a couple. He does good work.

The deck looks great! I am refurbing a 7263 as well. Did you use a standard RAL color? Is the original paint a wet coat or powder coat? What was your process for refinishing the deck? Any insight you have is helpful - thanks!
