Allright, one of my clients sold me an old Lawn-Boy and the model number is : 680538. I only paid 40$, but wow it mows well for a mower from 1992!:confused2: Now, I do have a few issues with it! When I first got it, I changed the oil and added some SAE30 and the mower smoked real bad! I thought it was on fire! Once it was turned off, there was white fumes all over the place coming like it seemed, from the exhaust. So, I mixed 30% tranny oil with 70% Castrol 5W-30 oil (a guy that is a good mechanic told me to do that). Well, it worked great! The mower did not burn oil and the exhaust smelled mostly like it sould. I guess it had stuck rings from all those years of not running. Now, I need to know what I need to truly run like oil in this unit to give the motor what it needs. Finnaly, the wheels are real wobbly giving me a hard time to mow. Can I replace the crappy felt bushing in the wheels or just buy new wheels at Canadian Tire? Thanks in advance for the help!

Here are some pictures of the cleaning. The first picture show you guys and girls how the mower first arrived. It was covered in oil!:confused3:

It is all fine now. I did check the oil before starting it. It runs pretty good now. All tho, I need to know what oil to put in there.
