Lawn boy 10696 2005 starting issues

I have a 2005 Lawn boy 10696 that has always started, now it won't. I have no spark at the coil, unless I unplug the ground, then I have spark, Does anyone have any suggestions from here? I am thinking about replacing the ground wire harness as that is all I can think it could be. Am I missing something?

How about the bar you are supposed to hold to get it to run. Follow the cable to where it connects. I would bet something is wrong there.
