An obscure brand "manufactured by Laco Oil Burner Co Inc, in Griswold Iowa."
This rider is in a Griswold Museum.
"Laco" appears to be short for LACrOsse (as in Wisconsin). Some www info from the 1930s.
And a walk behind. note the motor is mounted at an angle so the belt aligns with the drive pulley.
And for fun. Griswold is the family name in the National Lampoon Vacation movie series. There was the Griswold "Wagon Queen Family Truckster" and Uncle Eddie's camper on display when I passed through town. I'll bet there are some fans of the movies here.
