La 175 steering gears strip all the time. I have to replace them at least 2 times a year. Its both the pinion and the sector gear. I always replace the bushings too. I've replaced the tie rods. I've replaced everything except the steering wheel and shaft. Any ideas?

inspect steering shaft for replacement, grease all moving parts.
