I have an L130 with a 23 hp kohler. Have had many problems but never an engine problem until now. I start it up and run it for a minute or two then it shuts down. Once it cools off it will go again. Also the blades wont turn on again until it sits awhile. Any ideas?
You need to check two things first, then report back. The next time it quits, check for spark. If it has spark spray some carb cleaner directly into the carb air horn and see if it will fire. No spark you have an ignition problem. If it fires with carb cleaner, you have a fuel problem. When you report back be sure to include all engine numbers.
I also have an L130 and I get it serviced regularly. I had starting issues so I changed the battery and it started up a couple of times. Now it is totally dead, however I can jump it off and it will start. Also, now my mower deck will not engage. Help!!!!!
Horse collar, please start a new thread and include all engine and unit numbers. It’s not nice to hyjack another thread and will get very confusing for everyone.
