Hi team

Kubota GS 200 5.5 hp motor
It has been sitting around for about a year with the fuel tap open.
Just cleaned the carbie.
It starts and runs, with choke on - but stops once choke is opened.

Any ideas please.

Carburetor still not clean enough or air leak on intake, or both.

Did you remove the center main jet and clean it and make sure the orings (if any) are good?

Try spraying choke cleaner around the carb and intake are while it is running. If the speed changes, you have found a vacuum leak. Put in all new gaskets. You're not getting enough fuel flow thru the carb or too much air thru a leak. If speed does not change, then clean the carb again making sure to pass wires thru all ports and remove all jet and clean.

I cleaned all jets and sprayed carbie cleaner in all the holes I could find. I poked wires trough all holes I could identify.
I am thinking of using an ultrasonic bath to clean areas I have not reached.

Did you remove all the jets and clean both the jet and the socket? How about the needle and seat? If you're going to blow are thru the gas inlet, not too much pressure as some seats can be blown out. With the carb off and upside down, the float should be parallel to the carb body.
