I have just purchased the latest Australian spec GR2120 fitted with the 3 cylinder D782 diesel engine.
Have now used it for 13 hrs on my 50 acre property cutting down long grass and small shrubs to keep the property safer from wild fires.
When cleaning the engine after the week's slashing/mowing I noticed that the Stainless steel worm drive hose clamp holding the 42mm diameter snorkel to the Air filter was too big for the purpose, it is sized at 40-64mm. Rough calculation shows that the over-hanging tail would measure approx 60mm. On my machine I found that this tail was contacting the No3 cylinder injection pipe and had worn a small groove in the surface of the pipe at the site of contact. This could cause the pipe to leak if allowed to continue.
I hope this is an isolated instance but just in case you may wish to check your machine and shorten the "tail" to stop this happening.
