Just picked up a Cub Cadet zero turn mower with Kohler 22hp model number KT725-3083 from the nameplate manufactured on 11/08/2019 purchased from an authorized Cub dealer
Couple confusing points I hope you folks can clear up
First off the engine manual that came with the equipment doesn't list KT725, it does list KT610-KT620,KT715-KT745. This is no big deal but makes wonder? Same thing from webiste manual download area.
Second when I type in the full model number in places like amazon and repairclinic.com for service parts the -3083 part of the number doesn't get results. Is it because engine is very new version of the KT725?

I was trying to set up some maintenance items in wish lists for when I need it.
Finding service parts at the Kohler site is also kind of confusing with PRO and no PRO versions with different air filters.

Any insight or sites that explain this would be appreciated

You got brain fog on the manual as it does list the KT725. KT715-KT745 list is saying including all model from KT715 to KT745 and if I am thinking right 725 is between 715 and 745 but maybe math has changed that much.

Second not all websites have all the engines listed. For your engine go to Partstree or simply Google KT725-3083. That specs is a valid spec number and is list as MTD spec'd engine which Cub Cadet is one.

Your spec uses the 32 083 09-S air filter with the 32 083 10-S prefilter.

Brain fog is not uncommon unfortunately. Thanks. Rather obvious now it's a range of models. And thanks for the part numbers

You can also use the 32 883 09-S1 which is the display package that includes both the main filter, and the foam wrap.

Tnx for the package PN I will supersede the 3288309-S when I get my Auto Manager software back up and running. The latest update created an error of two missing files this morning, awaiting software support to respond.
