Toro 22" mower with Kohler XT675 engine. The oil fill cap is just the short plastic plug with the little dipstick. The original was cross-threaded and had ruined the plastic threads, so I ordered a new one. I had a hard time getting it started straight and when I did, it gets tight before reaching the gasket. The aluminum crankcase threads look ok, but something must be wrong with them. I've been working on small engines forever, so I don't think it's me. Anyone else having this problem?
