I think this is an aftermarket kit, it doesn't look like Kohler sells the gear separately. Which means your local dealer probably won't carry it. :frown:

Go ahead and ask the dealer if they'll sell you just the gear. But if they won't and you can't wait a few days, it looks like you need a new starter. :frown:

just called the dealer. got to buy entire starter. 165.99 I'll be looking on the internet for cheaper one.
