The tech rep through the company said it will bolt up and it's the right type of shaft, but his concerns are the muffler, alternator, starter etc and i gave him the spec number from my engine as per request, and still waiting to hear back from him about fitments and what not.
I assume that if I'm just going to use the pull starter, i dont really need to worry about the starter and all that at the moment... The muffler sits off to the side like my old engine.
It's going on an old Exmark 36" walk behind mower.
Any input as to this engine or other direct replacements for the CV15 that aren't going to cost a crap ton?
Looking to replace asap...
Thanks!

Did you look on ebay or craigslist, maybe you could find a donor mower and swap engines. Doe's the engine have to be new. Does your mower have electric PTO? Can you give us more info on the mower you are working on?
Nothing on craigslist besides electric only ones that'd have to be converted over to recoil. There aren't many donor options available locally. The mower is a 93' Exmark 36" walk behind v36-12.5ko-5.
I didnt want to have to buy new, but i don't have many options and need an engine asap. All of my residential lawns i can and have been doing with our 22" mower, but we have one big job that is a little under 2 acres... Thats why i need to get our big mower back up asap. That and mowing our residential with a push mower isn't as effective or profitable.
