Hello all!
I have been having a problem with my kohler command V twin. It ran fine a few days ago, the started blowing fuses. I figured out I needed new magnets and stator - replaced and fixed.
Now I am having a problem with not getting any spark. It cranks and is getting fuel with compression. The coils have two wires - brown and yellow (I believe it’s a ASAM model?) anyways, I don’t have 12V to either wire, so now I’m stuck. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks all

engine information, kohler has no clue what mymodel number is
Model: CV22S
Spec No. 67515
Displacement: 624
Serial No. 2603200977

Sounds stupid but are the battery cables all clean and having good connections? A few minutes with a piece of sandpaper is all it takes.

IF you can't resolve the voltage problem you might need to install conversion kit 24 755 307-S as you may have already fried the ASAM module.

When you turn the key on you should have +12v at the red wire going to the asam module. If you don't have +12v at the red wire then the ignition won't work.
