If any one can shed some light on what I am trying to do ,it would be appreciated. I have a Kohler CV16S Spec. No. 61514 I need a coil for it . This is a twin Command Engine. But when I look it up it shows its an 18 H.P. There is a number on the coil that is shorted. 9420 . This is ignition only uses the plug wire and a ground wire for the shut off. Can any one tell me what I need for a coil/ Part Number. In the trouble Shooting info I Pulled off the Net it shows a coil 24584 15-S and a 24584 36-S. ??????

Thank You For any help you can give me.

Spec number 61514 comes back to a cv18 with a coil part number of 24 584 01-s superceded to 24 584 45-s

All the cv16 I have ever seen where single cylinder. Maybe part of the 8 is worn off making it look like a 6.
