I have a Kohler CH20 engine in my cub cadet. My wife was mowing and accidentally got hung up on an ant hill with the mower deck and the mower stalled out. After getting it off the ant hill I tried to start the mower and it wouldn't start. I removed the air cleaner and checked the carb and tried again and I got flames coming up the carb. Looked into problem and thought it was the flywheel shear pin was broken causing timing to be off. After I removed the engine and inspected flywheel. The key was still intact. Does anyone else have an idea of what could cause this. Cam maybe?
