I've been wrestling with my Kombi for weeks. It idles waaaay to fast, I eventually bought a new el-cheapo carb from Hong Kong as I figured it was damaged but that hasn't helped. The throttle cable adjustment is fine, spark arrestor is clean, any gaskets I can get to easily seem to be OK.
I remember this happening on a chainsaw I had and seem to recall air was getting in somewhere. All of the fuel lines seem OK.
Is this looking like I need to take it to the shop? I''m comfortable pulling the motor apart if anyone has any likely suggestions what might be wrong with it.
