I'm troubleshooting a Toro 6.5hp Recyler lawn mower (Tecumseh engine LV195XA-362089E). I have traced the problem to the ignition coil. In the course of troubleshooting, I started wondering where exactly the kill switch wire is connected into the ignition coil internal components. I suspect that the kill switch is grounding the primary coil winding, but I'm just guessing. Does anyone know what part of the ignition coil is grounded by the kill switch? A simple drawing (or a link to a drawing) would be helpful too!

Grounds primary winding like you said. Unplug the wire from the ignition and then check for spark to confirm bad coil before replacing.

Thanks for the reply and advice.
Removed wire, still no spark. New spark plug. I measured resistance from spark plug lead to coil ground = 2.83k and measured from spark plug lead to kill switch terminal on coil = 3.21k, and measured from coil kill switch lead to coil ground = 375 ohm.
