Keeping grass clear under deck?

I have a Toro Timemaster and I am having issues trying to keep my grass from sticking underneath. The grass is NOT wet when I cut it. Any moisture comes from inside the grass blades when cutting. This happens when bagging or mulching. Any tricks to stop it or slow it down? Thanks

On my Toro Timecutter, I have the deck set per spec in the book, slight pitch to the front, between 1-16" - 5/16"

I set mine @ 3/16" & then when I'm on it it is 1/8" slope, it keeps mine very clean, never any in back, if any, a little in front only, easily removed even by hand just reaching in (MOWER ENGINE Off of course)..

I have thick KBG and in the spring & fall when the grass is dry (but lush - full of moisture in the blades), my Timemaster tends to gunk up the bottom of the deck when mulching no matter what I do. My only solution is to side discharge (and double-cut if necessary) or bag :-(.

Spraying Fluid Film under the deck can help but doesn't last long and likely won't eliminate the issue.
