[Simple guy]

made the decision to order a Bad Boy MZ and I ordered it with the 27hp Briggs PRO and now have second guessed if I should have ordered the FR651 Kawasaki. I ordered the 48" deck. Any thoughts on the Briggs vs the Kaw engines? I asked them to hold my order until I get some feed back. The dealer said both are good engines and it is simply preference. The Kaw is ~$500 more and really dont want to spend the extra.

If you follow recommended maintainence schedule both engines will last a long time. 27HP for a 48" deck is more than enough power. I think you made a wise decision.
