Kawasaki V Twin

[Main Street Small Engines]

I have a v twin engine that is miss seems to be miss firing. One spark plug is real dark in color the other is not as dark.one side of the carburetor plentum is cold when running the other side fills normal.I have replace coils,cleaned carburetor,replaced spark plugs. The compression is within a few pounds different on ether side. Any help with this matter will be helpfull.

Remove the shroud and start the engine. Using carb cleaner, spray all around the carb gaskets and intake gaskets, plus the entire intake manifold leading to the cylinder you feel is running cold. If engine speed changes you have a major air leak.
