Kawasaki model#

I have posted in other places but no reply. I have a Kawasaki motor two cylinder don't know what size maybe 17 HP. and that is part of my problem I cannot find any model #. Where do they hide them on one of these motor. Don't see one on the valve cover like on a Briggs or on the top cover by the cooling fan. This motor came off of a John Deere LT180. I need to order a few parts. My son wants to build a go cart his first build project. I told him I would donate parts and tools and he has to build it. I bought him a $600.00 starter set from Snap-on. Told him to keep his paws off mine.:laughing:

If I remember right, Kaw number are laser etched on the block, one of the flat surfaces. May be covered in dirt.
