Kawasaki FC150V won't run

I recently picked up a Toro personal pace with the Kawasaki FC150V. It ran when I went to check it out, it ran when I got home, and then it died. It has a spark, and it will start up every like 10-20 pulls, but won't stay running. I pulled the carb off to give it a cleaning, but I was wondering if anyone could give me any information on these engines, as I have never worked on one. There is also some oil at the bottom of the valve cover which I can't seem to figure out the cause of either. Thanks

Please post the units model and serial number. I don't remember a PP mower with a Kaw engine. Need to look that one up.

It's a Toro 20046 Personal Pace. I can post the serial number tomorrow. It looks really nice. Has like a gold sparkle paint.

Now I remember that unit, was only around for two years. These two web sites should be able to help you. Three things I would check. Valve clearance, change the valve cover gasket when you do this, stop the leaking. New plug, and pull the carb and give it a good soaking bath.

Okay, thanks. I'll see if I have some time this weekend to tear into it.
