Kawasaki engine cover

Fr691v cub cadet ltx1050kw can't get cover off seems to be holding on in back. Is there a trick to this

Some Kawasaki engines you have to take the grass screen assembly off first.

On mine the Kaw engine cover has shoulder bolts, as such they do Not need to be fully removed as the cover has slotted holes. & You don't need to fully remove the Dip Stick tube bolt either, so it can remain undisturbed.

But yes the plastic grass screen assembly needs off 1st (3 plastic screws), then watch for the shims under the metal screen, there will be 3 cap screws there...That will help for a quick re-install.

Then of course the electric fuel pump must be unbolted from engine housing. Prior to removal of engine cover.
