K62 transaxle trouble.

I broke the axle in our simplicity broodmoore got a new axle changes it now the hydro transmission won't work at all. Everything turns as it should on the inside no visible wear marks anywhere we have had it apart 4or 5 times and can't get it to work... HELP...

Was wondering if I bought another K 62 transaxle for an mtd tractor if it would work in the simplicity broodmoore if I switched the hubs? It's a 600.00 gamble so any input would be very helpful thank you!

Look for the small D or bar keys that keep gears and shafts turning in sync. Maybe one fell out during tear down and rebuild. Also look around your area, there maybe a junker you could buy with all the gears in place, take the junker apart and stare and compare. Put the items id numbers on this forum and you get more detailed info and a pic.
