Just got a JD 314

I just got a 314 with a Kohler 321 engine and I have a couple questions since this is the 1st JD I have ever owned I was wondering if any one new were I could find an owners manual also to run the tractor at full throttle I have the chock pulled all the way out that seem odd to me but didn't know if that was normal and if not what should I look adjust or fix.

Some of the K321 had an adjustable carb, and some don't. If it is the adjustable one, there will be a screw sticking straight up just next and slightly below the throttle lever, and another smaller screw just off to the side of the carb. If it is adjustable, try turning the screw out while at full throttle and see what happens. If everything is working correctly, the engine should start running richer, and you should be able to push the choke in as you adjust. Once you get the high side adjusted, then you can go down to idle, and adjust the smaller screw on the side, to get it to idle smoothly.

If it is the non-adjustable one, you will need to clean the carb, due to a restriction in the jets.

It is adjustable so I will try that thanks for the info I went out today to fire it up to move some snow and it would not start the plug would fire so I don't think it is getting gas so hopefully when I get it started those adjustments will help.
